Assignment: Create the crest for local club soccer team

The identity of a team is something that has the potential to spread throughout an entire city and beyond. I had the honor of designing the badge and visual identity for the Tacoma Narrows FC elite men’s soccer club, it was an opportunity to collaborate on a potential icon for Seattle Sports which is important to me personally. After some research, I was surprised and inspired to find that the Tacoma Narrows bridge is the home of the world’s largest breed of octopus. I used this as inspiration for the mascot for the championship-winning team.
